Palmyra - Helen Louise Sminkey, on February 26, 2018, age 69, (nee Derk) of Palmyra, NJ. She was the beloved wife of Raymond M. and loving mother of Raymond E. (Sarah), Jacqueline (Mark) Holmes, Joann (Joseph) Wirth and Raylene (Brian) Askin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren Nikki, Kirk, Elizabeth, Jake, John, Kyle, Helen and Raymond; 2 great grandchildren Katelynn and Makayla; and 2 sisters Alma Rhodes and Margaret Deak. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Church 43 W. Maple Ave. Merchantville, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ. 08053.

I wish I could be there with everyone. The stories, the four sisters shared growing up and all the wonderful memories will always be with everyone. I love you all very much. May God hold all of you close. Hang on to him.
