SKULNICK, Louis February 20, 2011 of Southfield, MI, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Polsky) Skulnick. Father of Susan (Herb) Ruttenberg and Marc (Cindy) Skulnick. Grandfather of Jason (Lisa) Ruttenberg, Heather Skulnick, Brian (fiancé Andrea Joseph) Ruttenberg, Erin (Jason) Johnson, Jared (Melissa) Skulnick and Ari Ruttenberg. Great-grandfather of Madison LaRocca, Dylan LaRocca, Avery Skulnick and Brooke Ruttenberg. Brother-in-law of Ethel (Cy) Berger. Mr. Skulnick was the owner of Skulnick's Jewelers in Pennsauken, NJ until his retirement in 2000 after 55 years in business. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army. Louis was a member of B'rith Sholom Cherry Hill Lodge #966 where he also received the Man of the Year Award in 1957. He was a former board member of the Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Federation of Southern NJ. Louis was Past President of the Haddontown Civic Association in 1960 and he was a former member of Cong. M'kor Shalom in Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends are invited Wednesday beginning 10:30AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Road Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Crescent Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
