AGE: 82 • Williamstown

William L. (Bill) Camishion, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson and Mt. Laurel, NJ died on Monday, October 23, 2012. He was 82. Born and raised in Riverside, NJ, Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force after attending Camden Catholic and graduating from Riverside High in 1948. After attending Harvard University while serving in the Korean War and attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, Bill was honorably discharged in 1955. He began working in his father's barber shop while attending Rutgers University until he became President of Riverside Savings Bank in 1968 where he continued to work until 1985. Before retiring in 1990, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Mortgage Officer at Inter-Boro Savings in Cherry Hill, NJ. Former Mayor of Riverside, NJ, Bill was also a member of the Burlington County Planning Board, the Riverside Township Planning and Zoning Board, member of the Board of Governors of the New Jersey Savings League and President of the Burlington County Savings League. A talented artist, Bill enjoyed woodworking, oil painting, surf fishing @ Long Beach Island, golfing and taking care of his daughter's horses.

Beloved husband of 59 years of Elizabeth A. (nee O'Brien) and devoted father to Elizabeth F.Camishion (Richard C. Player) Bill is predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia J. Camishion, Esq. and his parents, Anthony and Florence Camishion. He is also survived by his dear brothers, Rudolph C. Camishion M.D. and Louis A. Camishion (Eleanor), loving nieces, Germaine, Sandra, Lisa, Nancy, loving nephews Spencer and Christopher, dear cousins especially Sam and Pat Rua and many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Saturday October 27th from 8:00 to 10:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 AM at Saint Charles Borromeo, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
