Robert Biehler Obituary
AGE: 94 • Blackwood
Robert F. Biehler, age 94 of Blackwood, formerly of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 11, 2014 surrounded by his family. Loving husband of 58 years of the late Veronica Biehler (nee Villano). Beloved father of Patti (Jim Loretta) Biehler, Ronni (Dr. James) Oxley, Robert (Susan Pettigrano) Biehler, Jr., George (Nancy) Biehler, and Tom (Maria) Biehler. Proud grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5.
Mr. Biehler was born in Camden and was a longtime resident of Pennsauken before recently moving to Blackwood. He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Robert is a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope/St. Agnes Church. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church in Pennsauken, where he was involved with and ran many church activities. Mr. Biehler was also very involved with the sports program at Camden Catholic High School throughout his life.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2014 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Church (chapel), 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 pm in the Main Church. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Condolences may be shared at www.earlefuneralhome.com
