John Mertsock Obituary
Cherry Hill - On January 14, 2018, age 90 years.
Beloved husband of Teresa S. (nee Straub); Devoted father of John (the late Colleen), Richard (Jean), Daniel Mertsock and Terry (Dwight) Jessup; Loving grandfather of Elizabeth Kenney-Szymanski, Steven Jessup, Megan Mertsock and Katelyn Jessup and great grandfather of Kingston Kenney; Dear brother of Katherine Kenney.
Mr. Mertsock was a US Army Veteran, serving between World War II and the Korean War. He was employed by Flexitallic in Camden, retiring as a cost estimator.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville. Interment will take place privately at a later date at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
