I miss you still so many days. I just bought a piece of your jewelry. A life-long friendship. I have your picture on my shelf. Not many people I trust. You were one of the few. We grew into adulthood together and kept on...love you, Mike. See you again soonMarie

I have just found out that Michael had passed away. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a sweet kind and generous person. Though the news made me deeply sad I hope Michael's soul is free and at peace now. He was making absolutely beautiful jewelry. What a talented but humble person he was! Goodbye Michael... I hope to see you sometime in the Non Physical Universe just to say...I'm So sorry...and... Thank you.

Mike and I were both in love with the Bancroft Camp in Owls Head Maine. The last time I saw him he stopped by to visit years after the camp closed. He dropped off a photo album as a present with pictures of the camp before it closed.I cherish that gift and glance at it often when reminiscing .
I think about you my brother.Always thought we would get future chances to catch up.And we will on the other side.

I just received my guidebook for the Tucson Show and saw on one of the first pages that Mike has passed. I was shocked and saddened. I saw Mike yearly at the Tucson Show. We joked that he was a southerner like I am because Cape May is below the Mason-Dixon line. I will sure miss him this year and years to come. What a fine fellow he was!

I met mike a few years ago at a jewelry show. He was the sweetest guy and had the best jewelry. He was so soft spoken and just a really kind soul. I was looking forward to seeing him this July in NC.... I am saddened I won't see him again. I send condolences to his family.

Mike,
What a unwelcome surprise. :-( You have always been the guy who I viewed as the ultimate adventurer. I felt you gave life a good chance and life gave you many amazing experiences. It breaks my heart to hear you have left this world BUT you are the the most adventuresome of all and you are on the ultimate adventure now!!!!! My heart and tears follow you on your adventures. Terribly saddened.Just weekend I was down in D.C. entertaining my companions with memories of Bancroft in Maine.
I told folks the story of this amazing guy named Mike Connor who would be a world traveler but always return to Maine in the summer because he shared with me that nothing he saw in his travels could match the Owls Head Lighthouse at sunset.
Years after we all moved on Mike stopped by to visit me at my home in Maine.
Telling folks about Mike led me to wonder how and where you are.I truly hoped to see you again.
My sincere condolences to Mike's family and loved ones.
See you on the other side brother.

My dearest Gini,Your loss is the greatest of all.....no parent wants to see her son meet his maker so young. Michael was a dear sweet soul whose quiet demeanor was adored. My prayers go out to you and the rest of the family. Please know that you are loved and that Michael is now in the hands of our Lord. Rest in His loving hands. Mrs. Spicer.

I remember sweet Mike from our Bancroft days, back in the summer of 1987,What great memories of those days gone by,,,he and our friend Yardy from
London used to work with special needs children, and myself with the special needs adults.
Now sleep with the angels Sweet Mike.

The news of Mike's passing hit me like a bolt of lightning. And I'm still more or less in disbelief. I just texted Mike a few days prior, seeing how he was doing, and mentioning we should check out a Phillies game sometime soon. I guess that trip with my friend will never be.

One of the worst things about the sudden, untimely death of a friend is that you never get the chance to say goodbye. To say thank you. And to say i love you.

I wish i could've gotten the opportunity to do all three.

Rest easy Big Mike. I'll always remember you for your kindness and generosity. And for fighting the the good fights. You will be missed.

So sorry. I had been thinking of you Mike.Your kindness/gentle nature your world travels. In fact this weekend, I was sharing with the folks I was socializing with about[ you sharing with me ] that the beauty of Owls Head Maine surpassed anything you have seen in your travels. The conversation led me to wonder how you were doing and when I might see you again.
My condolences to your family/loved ones.Hope to see you on the other side.
