Voorhees - Wayne Baserman, age 92, died January 29th, 2021 after a 6 week courageous battle with the Covid 19 virus. Wayne was born in Johnstown, PA, graduated from Johnstown HS, was honorably discharged from the US Army and met and married his wife Frances. He and his small family moved to South Jersey in 1960, where he has been a resident of Voorhees for the past 55 years. Wayne was a plumber and worked at various shops and construction companies. His last employer was Virtua Hospital where he retired from after 15 years. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Frances, his parents, Harry and Margaret Baserman, his sisters, Ruth and Margie and his brother Jim. He is survived by his daughter Denise, son Wayne, friend Dolores, sister Marilyn and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was an honest, faithful, hardworking man. He believed in God, was a fervent believer in prayer and was very active in the Holy Rosary Parish in Cherry Hill for many years. He was a kind neighbor and friend. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday February 5th from 9:30-10:30 AM at the St. Simon Stock Parish, 178 W White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ
