Jaime Shapoff Obituary
Deptford - Passed away on May 31, 2021. Age 50. Jaime is survived by his loving mother, Phyllis Gill; and brother, David A. Shapoff. He also leaves behind his housemates, Troy, Larry and Brian as well as many loving caregivers and friends from his Devereux family.
Catholic Funeral services will be celebrated on at 11 am on (TODAY) Thursday, June 10th at the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, where family and friends may visit 10 to 11 am. Burial will follow in Land of Canaan Cemetery, 674 Fairview Road, Glassboro, NJ.

You will truly be missed, I'm going to miss hearing you say I've been good today with a side smirk. It was a pleasure being your staff. I will miss entering the house and instantly be greeted by you ready to tell me about your day or issue. I know you are looking down happy to see all the love being shown.

It was always so nice to see and talk with Jaime when he sometimes visited at Aspen and at the Elk's Club dances and parties. He always had a friendly smile for you. It was a pleasure to have known you.

You should know that you are going to be greatly miss by your Devereux/Tanyard family .
It has been a pleasure being able to spend the time that we did have together .
Thank you for all the laughs and memories that we did share together , you will not be forgotten .
Your housemate will miss you a great deal, but i know you will watch over them.
I know you are in heaven with that great big smile watching over us...

Jaime AKA Shapper-Napper, I know that you know how much everyone at Devereux will miss your smile, your laughs, your jokes, and those fancy Flyers and Scooby-Doo pajama pants! We will all carry your presence in the very center of our hearts, knowing you were called too soon. Thank you for all of the laughs and good times, thank you for trusting staff to care for you and allowing us to be in your life.
You should be very proud to tell everyone in Heaven all you have accomplish despite any challenges trying to get in your way. I have watched you master your independence and perfect your happiness, and personally could not be more proud of you. I pray you rest well, knowing that your friends will continue to advocate for you, putting our best efforts forward in the name of your memory.
