Kathy fought a brave long hard battle with this evil illness called cancer for a long time and she never gave up. She seemed to always have a smile on her face when I'm sure she really didn't feel like it. She may have lost the battle with cancer but she won the war because she is residing in heaven with her Savior, and I bet she has a smile on her face too. My sympathies to her family and friends that was left behind but take comfort in knowing she is pain free and one day we will be reunited with this amazing Godly woman.

How does one explain their feelings over losing someone they only knew through facebook? She earned a place in my heart long ago for her tenacity and humor as she battled a might foe called 'cancer'. I've cried. I've been happy that she is now free from pain and worries. I've been sad. I've prayed. I've run a gamut of emotions. I've asked God to help ease her transition from this life into His heavenly realm. I have plenty of tears for those Kathy loved and for those that loved her. May her family and loved ones provide comfort for each other. She always seemed like a snowflake - multi-faceted with a shining beauty uniquely her own. My heavy heart goes out to all. Bev.

I was blessed to touch base with you again 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with Cancer. You taught me how to fight the monster that is Cancer. Your faith was awe inspiring to me and left me with a determination to fight until I win. You will stay in my heart and I'm sure your encouraging words will remain in my thoughts for many years to come. Rest easy Kathy you will be missed.

So glad I got to know and love you as we worked together. You always made me laugh! Our lunches together were always a joy. Seen a lot of cancer of loved ones and friends in my 70+ years, but never knew one that fought the good fight like you! Now you can rest. You deserve it.

Heaven gained a new saint the day we all lost you, Kathy. We will miss your positive attitude and ready smile and love. You brought together so many people to offer each other love and support as we mourn your loss and celebrate your life. And I loved that you and I could be cousins for the last 40+ years. Heaven rejoices in your homecoming.

Aunt Kathy, Although you werent my Aunt by blood you were in my heart. I'm truly going to miss our talks, you always have me such good advice and we could just talk about anything. You have known me since birth and would tell me stories about when I was a baby. I'm very glad we reconnected a couple years ago and I cherish and love you very much. I have always looked up to you, because through it all you never lost your smile or complained. What a remarkable woman you were. You are going to be missed by so many and I love and will miss you!

Where do I start, I came into your life later and I loved you like a sister. There was so much you taught me about fighting but most of all about your Faith. My heart hurts for the ones that are left behind, you my dear sweet friend have a new home in Heaven. We will be there someday until then keep everyone in line up there. I am such a better person for having you in my life, I will miss our Bible reads, the deep laughter when we did something silly. But so happy you introduced me to a whole new family and friends.
I will love you forever.
