Ruby "Lurlene" Thweatt Bagby
Evansville - Lurlene Thweatt Bagby, 95, went home to be with her Jesus on January 9th, 2021 in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on June 9th, 1925 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to her parents, Fink and Addie (Terrell) Thweatt.
Lurlene was a woman of strong faith in God and Jesus, whom she always referred to as "my Jesus". She enjoyed being a homemaker and caregiver to those she loved dearly. She was a primary caregiver to her husband, Randolph before his passing and her grandson, Bryce after her daughter Vicki went through a major family change. She wanted to be a strong, influential demonstrator of Christ's love to her family, friends, and to anyone she would meet. She loved to read Christian literature and her Bible. Lurlene loved listening to worship music and singing praises to her Jesus. She would enjoy spending time on her screened in porch watching the birds and rabbits outside and would take pride in feeding and caring for God's creatures. Next to God, she loved her family above all.
