Eric Keith Hoffman
Evansville, Ind. - Eric Keith Hoffman, 43, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
Eric was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 9, 1976, to Donald Hoffman and Deborah (Parmenter) Cronin. He was a 1994 graduate of Central High School and attended Indiana University. Eric was an avid sports fan and loved the Cubs, Lakers, and Indiana University. He was previously a manager at United Artist Theater in Indianapolis and more recently worked for Anchor Industries. Eric was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Eric is survived by his sons, Lucas Hoffman and Max Hoffman both of Fishers, IN; mother, Deborah (Parmenter) Cronin (William) of Evansville, IN; father, Donald Ray Hoffman of Evansville, IN; uncle, Ronald Wayne Hoffman (Anna) Phoenix, AZ; girlfriend of four years, Cindy Blackford of Evansville, IN; brother, Kyle Hoffman (Jamie) of Newburgh, IN; step-siblings, Marlene Porter (Mark) of Newburgh, IN, Charlene Kraft (Kenneth) of Evansville, IN, Cheryl Rule (James) of Caseyville, IL, Brad Cronin (Christi) of Louisville, KY, Jeffrey Cronin (Keisha) of Elberfeld, IN;and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Eric's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 100 E Michigan St., Evansville, IN 47711, with Rev. Matthew Schilling officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, and again from 1:00 PM until service time on Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home for his sons, Max and Lucas' education.
The family would like to thank everyone at Deaconess Gateway Hospital that helped care for Eric, Dr. David Lippman, and Dr. Kalyana Lavu. The family would also like to thank his friends that helped him, Terry Kensell, Robert Hagood, Pastor Matthew Schilling, and Cindy Leistner.
