Marsh, Mildred E..
Mildred E. Marsh, age 89, passed away on January 27, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded her loving children. Millie was born in New York City on July 16, 1926 to the late Harry and Katherine Hamanitzky. She moved to Bridgeport in 1947 after marrying her soul mate, James Marsh.
Millie was a vibrant woman, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She graduated from a New York Fine Arts School and became a multi-talented artist, who worked on The Syndicated Herald Newspaper comic strips and comic books. She was ever to humble to take credit for all her artistic accomplishments in her lifetime.
Millie is survived by her children, Judy and Looie LaChioma and Wayne and Susan Marsh; her grandchildren, Danielle LaChioma and David (Lisa) LaChioma and great-granddaughter, Valentina; and her special furry companion, Zoe. She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim. She will be sadly missed by her children and the many friends and acquaintances that she met along the way. Her memory will always be in our hearts forever.
