Dorian K. Owens
ROCKY HILL – Dorian Kendall Owens, 68, went home to the Lord on April 7, 2018 at Rocky Hill Veterans Home and Healthcare Center. Born in Bridgeport; the son of the late Joseph and Beulah Owens. He was a graduate of Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport and a veteran of the United States Air Force proudly serving as an Airman First Class and Air Craft Mechanic during Vietnam from 1969 - 1971. He was also a former member of First Baptist Church in Stratford and attended the Paier School of Art in Hamden. He is survived by two brothers, Donald Owens and Gary Owens; one sister, Daphne Adams; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the John L. Levitow Veterans Health Care Center Chapel, 287 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT from 9 – 10 a.m. with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Colonel Raymond F.
