I worked with Ed at Warde for many years. He was always so positive and realistic. Pro student, Ed knew what was important in a high school. My best wishes to the family.

I taught across the courtyard from Ed for a number of years....he was a fabulous man, smart, funny, kind, humble, tough, understanding and soooo good looking...he had it all and he gave back just as much to kids, colleagues and I'm sure his family.

Ed was one of those unique guys you meet in life. I enjoyed working with him for many years at Warde and Fairfield High. He added a lot to the life of the school. His comments and wit were a special part of him . I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

My son and his friends (all pushing 40) still talk about Ed when they get together. That is all that an educator can hope for...a lasting impact on his or her students.

I remember Ed well. He frequently attended our retired Fairfield teacher breakfasts at the Circle Diner and, until recently, I would see him at the FEA picnic every year. He was a dear man, and I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

When someone we love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Therefore, treasure the special times spent with your loved one-draw strength from the love of family and friends-and may God's word and his loyal love comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Psalms 119:50,76

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Lewinsky as a coach at Andrew Warde. Coach was tough but always fair. His students and players were fortunate to have known this man. My deepest sympathies to your family

To The Lominsky Family- Ed was my high school math teacher and basketball coach at Andrew Warde from 1968-72. An average player at best, Ed talked me into staying with the team as the student manager. Now 62 years old, I have memories of Ed and how he occasionally would ask me to 'help' referee the daily team scrimmages. I ended up officiating high school and college basketball for 33 years. "THANKS' Ed for getting me interested in a great avocation..
