James Henry Mesaros
James Mesaros, age 76, of Palm Coast, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. James was born on February 9, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Henry and Elizabeth Mesaros. He was a graduate of Harding HS and served our nation honorably in the US Army. James lived and raised his family in Monroe, CT for 47 years before retiring to Florida. James began his career at Vitramon while working part time at Leonard's Hardware Store both in Monroe, CT. He then worked in the manufacturing industry as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Perkin Elmer until his retirement. James's biggest passion was his family, from coaching his sons in baseball and football, enduring years of dance recitals for his daughter to watching his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews play baseball, basketball, volleyball, softball and football. Besides enjoying any activity involving his family, he also enjoyed reading, camping and playing horseshoes.
James is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Edna (Seaman) Mesaros of Palm Coast, FL; sons, Gregory J. Mesaros and his wife Patricia of Naugatuck, CT, Christopher S. Mesaros of Monroe, CT; daughter, Deborah Hurvul and her husband, Ted of Monroe, CT; sister, Nancy German and her husband, Richard of Monroe, CT; brother, Michael Mesaros of Danbury, CT; sister-in-law, Katherine Knapp of Bunnell, FL; grandchildren, Shannon Russell and her husband Regan, Taryn Mesaros, Fallon Mesaros, Ariana Mesaros, Alyssa Mesaros, Teddy Hurvul, Tyler Hurvul; great grandchildren, Bailey, Braden, Rylan Russell; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Stone Barn at Whitney Farms, 175 Shelton Road, Monroe, CT at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
