Hey Walker, so what are we doing today? I sure miss hearing you say that on your camping trips. In fact, whenever I get out to the wood for a trip, I can still hear your voice say those words. I miss you and I wanted to say that I think I will never forget you. Thank you for the memories of your adventures. They live on with a lot of folks. I'm sure the camping is great in heaven. Enjoy!

Kevin’s positivity and smile are gonna be felt always by those who learned from him as an outdoorsman. He was a great instructor to a student of the outdoors like myself and he will be truly missed but his memory will always be cherished and live on through his YouTube content. I will see you in Valhalla my brother. I won’t forget the bacon. This fire is for you Kevin.

Condolences to his family, friends and followers. I never met the man, but was a fan off his videos. He seemed to me to be a very decent man. I just learned of Kevin's passing. I, too, am in shock. I never met Woods in person but knew him, like so many here, via YT, but really a long time before he started his channel, when I "met" Woods Walker, as he was known on several forums, over 12 years ago (ZH (the MBO's were classic) & Bushcraft USA, come quickly to mind). I was fortunate to exchange a couple of chats back then. I would enjoy his videos of the trips he took, projects he completed, and the gear reviews he made. I always thought that Kifaru should have him on staff. His gear comparisons, some with MAGS, were phenomenal. I count him as a 'brother in spirit' and know that his legacy will carry on for a very long time. Sincere condolences to his mother & family. He went way too soon. His light will shine in every one he touched. His reach & inspriation extended far and wide as evidenced by these messages. God speed, Kevin!!

Kevin is going to be missed by all the lives he has touched. I have not had a chance to get to know him personally, but I have had been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to learn more about the outdoors with Kevin as the guide and instructor. As Kevin would say, "So what are we going to do today?", And for some reason I can't find a way to complete the sentence as well as Kevin's enthusiasm would. Thanks for letting me know about the outdoors with you, Kevin and you will be greatly missed.

Such a terrible loss, condolences to Kevin's family and friends. I was fortunate enough to have met Kevin first in 2010 at the "East Coast Rendezvous" winter camping meet in the Adirondacks and every February went back looking forward to catching up with him. He had a penchant for winter camping! Kevin and I did a tough 5 day hike along the AT trail in Massachusetts in July 2016 that will be etched in my memory. His online presence and videos were anticipated and enjoyed by many. Kevin's knowledge of the outdoors and bushcraft was impressive, his friendly and positive demeanor appreciated. He will be missed by many.
