Happy 86 Birthday! You would be loading the furnace to burn your wood tonight. The winter has been tough and long but it would not have stopped even you from chopping. This one is tough and still leaves us wondering why.

Seventeen years have passed in a blink of eye that you blink twice wondering if it is true. We know you would still have the wood burning strong with the crazy temps this week. You are missed very much and remembered daily. Thanks for the bloom against the odds.

The world can feel so empty at times such as these. This is when we turn to family and friends to get through the emotional highs and lows. To laugh even when life isn't funny. To encourage us to not give up on our dreams. To enrich our lives in even the smallest ways To treasure every waking moment and express our love, thoughts, and heartaches. To be grateful that it has all been shared. And when we consider our pasts and memories it's not the events that we measure our life by, but the friends we've been priviledged to know. He is no longer bound in the pains of this earth and is at peace. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
