Omar, My deepest sympathy goes out to you on Kristen's passing. Both of you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. I always have a special rememberance for all of the RPI graduates that I recruited over the years for Uniroyal and both of you exceeded expectations. Kristen always had a positive energy to contribute and will be missed.

Dear Mureebe and Percent family,
I was so shocked to hear of Kristen's passing. I was a work study with her at RPI at the career center, as well as a coworker at Uniroyal (Crompton) and I'll always remember her as a wonderful and caring person. I wish you all the strength in this painful and difficult time.

I knew Kristen as a one of the cheeriest and friendliest class mates in Chemical Engineering class at RPI. I am shocked and saddened to hear about this news. I remember fondly the all-nighters and the always positive attitude that Kristen brought with her. It was a joy having known her. I had just gotten back in touch with her on Facebook... what a tremendous loss.

Kristen was a wonderful women and I was blessed the 1st day I met her. She was so peaceful to be around and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She made me smile, often and I made fun of her for always taking the high road. She loved you Omar, and Owen your momma talked about you all of the time. I would often look over in a meeting to catch her feeling you kick and smiling like an angel. A friend of mine and your mother's once said, "don't ask why. God's thoughts and plans are on a much higher level". I take refuge in that often and know she's right there beside him as an advocate of peace and suffering no more.

I am so deeply sadden to learn of Kristen’s passing. I have many fond memories of Kristen. Many of those memories are from growing up together on North Toll Street. I remember us jumping off the Percent’s porch into snow banks, walking to elementary school, Kristen’s birthday parties, playing school in the Percent’s basement, and listening to Kristen play the piano (she taught me the only thing I know how to play on the piano, the Hill Street Blues TV show theme). Kristen and I reconnected at Oswego State where we had a lot of fun times; one time in particular was a late fall road trip to the Adirondack’s to celebrate a friend's 21st birthday. Kristen was a fun, caring, and bright friend. I regret not having a chance to reconnect once again. I am so sorry for your family’s devastating loss. I will keep you all in my thoughts.
