FERNANDEZ Ramon Fernandez III, age 29, currently of Ansonia, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 4, 2009 in Bridgeport; Ramon was born in Bridgeport but had moved to Ansonia in the most recent years of his life. He had been employed for many years at the Montero Tobacco, a place where he considered his co-workers as family. Ramon will be sadly missed with a personality never to be forgotten. He was the son of Ramon Fernandez Jr. of New Haven and Evelyn Fernandez of Bridgeport. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alison Fernandez of Ansonia; his son, Ramon Fernandez IV of Ansonia; daughter, Nariah Fernandez of Ansonia; grandmother, Edelmira Hernandez of Bridgeport; brothers, Luis A. DeJesus, Angel Marrero, Richard Soto, William Perez and Carlos Nieves; sisters, Elsie, Miko, Tuty, Coquie, Helene, and Kime; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 8, 2009 beginning at 11a.m. until 1p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home.
