Wayne M. Gombar

GOMBAR Wayne M. Gombar, age 60, of Shelton, beloved husband of Donna Kafara Gombar, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 9, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Wayne, a Plant Manager for Bridgeport Insulated Wire, was born in Bridgeport to the Agnes Galya Gombar of Stratford and the late Howard Gombar. He was a graduate of Bunnell High School and enjoyed hunting, carving Muzzle Loaders, and his Corvette Sting Ray, and was an avid fan of the New York Giants and Rangers. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife, and mother, include his cherished daughters Whitney and Allyson, 2 nephews Michael and Mark Gombar, family friends Larry Robinson Jr., and James Tierney Jr., and his beloved dogs Tiffany, Pugs, and Oliver. In addition to his father he was pre-deceased by his brother Mark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 13th at 11:00a.m. in St. Theresa' Church 5301 Main St Trumbull. All other services and interment are private, and have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
