It is with fond memories that I think back to Cheverus, and Father Kane. I actually enjoyed calculus with his guidance. How special is that! He was a very positive, early influence on me. Thank You, up there.

Walter and I shared many fun hours at our Grandparents' Kane's home. He was my "world traveler cousin" who never failed to share his wonderful experiences with me through the years. I will miss him greatly.

Walter made a lasting impression on me in my youth. He was a very friendly and holy man who gently but persistently encouraged my studies (including of calculus--for which I forgive him!). I will never forget the intimate masses at Aunt Alice's and Hazel's house and his great kindness to my grandparents and mother. For me, Walter will always be the epitome of a Catholic priest.
