Alanna Scott Obituary

SCOTT Alanna Honore “Bubbles McGeex Scott, age 21, died on March 27, 2003. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church where she was a former member of Antioch and the Folk Choir. She was a receptionist for Pembroke Chiropractic. Alanna was an avid snowboarder, loved roller blading, was a gifted artist and devoted friend. She attended First Colonial High School, J. Sargent Reynolds College in Richmond and was enrolled at Tidewater Community College.She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas J. Naughton, Sr.; and paternal grandparents, George A. and Eula D. Scott. She is survived by her parents, Fitzgerald and Mary-Margaret Scott, of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Margaret Naughton; two sisters, Breanne M. Scott and Janelle P. Scott both of Virginia Beach; 10 aunts and uncles and 21 cousins and a close family friend, Elizabeth Neely of Virginia Beach. Diesel will miss her greatly. A celebration of AlannaQs life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2003, at 7 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the church. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 6 p.m. by Monsignor Raymond Barton at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach chapel, is handling arrangements.
