Charles Paul Williams, 54, of Primrose St., passed away on April 12, 2015 at UMC in Lubbock, TX. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Rattlesnake Springs off of US Hwy 62/180 South. Cremation has taken place under the direction of West Funeral Home. Charles Paul Williams was born to James Carroll and Martha (Snell) Williams on September 25, 1960 in Brownfield, TX and moved to Carlsbad, NM as a young boy.
Charles and Carolyn (Wheeler) Williams were married on June 8, 1979 in Carlsbad.
Charles worked for both Patterson and Silver Oak Drilling for many years and until recently had been employed with Mosaic Potash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Billy Dee and Jimmy Williams, sister, Carrol Farmer, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Charles is survived by his wife and children: C. "Paul" Williams, Jr. and wife Billie, William Williams and fiancé Stephanie Barnes and daughter, Carolyn Thompson and fiancé Jay Galyon, all of Carlsbad; brothers: James Ricky Williams, Robert Williams, Leslie Williams and wife Susan and Tommy Williams and wife Melanie, all of Carlsbad; sisters: Lois Alvarado and husband Pete of Hobbs, NM, Wanda Williams of Denton, TX, Glenda Allen and Rhonda Kidd and husband David, all of Carlsbad; grandchildren: Hunter, Jorden, Jasmine, Katelyn, Madison, Brycen and Kenneth and great-grandchild Landon. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren in love, nieces and nephews.
