Charlotte Ann May Hunt, 78, of Cynthiana, Ky. passed away on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born on Jan. 26, 1943 to the late Charles May and Sue Ann Isaac May Grayson.
Charlotte would work for 20 years as a sewer for Jockey and also as a nurse aid at Shady Lawn. She was a member of the Christian Faith Center in Cynthiana. On Dec. 3, 1966 she would marry James Thomas Hunt, and for the next 54 years, the two of them would cherish life and build many memories together. Her dear husband survives her passing.
Along with being a loving wife, Charlotte was a devoted mother to Beulah (Darryl) Dennie; Debbie Eubanks; Jimmy Hunt (Candy Wolfe) and Tommy (Carol) Hunt, all of Cynthiana, Ky. She was also a caring grandmother to Jana (Cody) Gordon; Darryl (Larra) Dennie Jr.; Jessica (Scotty) Faulkner; Cody Baker; Kenny Hunt; Tommy Lee Hunt (Larissa Burge); Joshua (Shelby) Stanfield; and Chris (Ari'el) Stanfield. Charlotte was also a proud great-grandmother of 17.
Also surviving her passing are her siblings Alice Weaver; Peggy McCallugh; Frank Grayson; and Tony (Kelly) Grayson. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Kathy Hiner and Dale McCallugh.
Funeral services for Charlotte will be on Monday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Christian Faith Center in Cynthiana. Visitation will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., also at the church. Her final resting place will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
