The Guest Book is expired.

Eudora Withers Wiley, 93, passed away on Jan. 30, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Eudora was born and raised in Cynthiana, Ky. She was born on June 16, 1924, to Ottis and Della Withers. A young woman ahead of her time, she graduated from Cynthiana High School at the age of 16 and attended business school in Cincinnati. She returned to Cynthiana and was a partner in Ecklar-Moore Trucking Company. After dating for two weeks, she married the love of her life, Marvin Mitchell Wiley, at age 20.
Eudora and Mitchell married on Sept. 1, 1944 and celebrated 64 years of marriage before he passed away in 2008. Together they raised four children; Jodell, Larry, Marvin and Mark. Eudora was a homemaker, a member of the Cynthiana Christian Church and belonged to her bridge club for 60 years. In the later years of her marriage, she enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband and friends. Eudora's family was her most prized possession and her happiest times were spent with those she loved the most. Celebrating weddings and hosting Christmas Eve at her home were at the top of her list. Eudora was adored by her family and will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
She is survived by her children and their families. She was the caring "Mother" to Jodell (Raymond) Works, Larry (Amy) Wiley, Marvin (Dru) Wiley and Mark Wiley. She was the precious "Grama" to her seven granddaughters, Rae Carol (David) Plantz, Rachel (David) Alachnowicz, Maria (Chuck) Gambrell, Laura Anne Wiley, Ashlee (Shane) Stephens, Lesley (Ryan) Sinks and Julie Wiley. Her role as Grama expanded over the years to include 11 great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Maria Plantz, Jacob, John Raymond, Carolee and Zachary Alachnowicz, Grant and Jack Gambrell, Ryan and Rylee Stephens and Evie Dru Sinks. She was affectionately known as "Sister" to her younger brother, John (Carol) Withers. She also cherished many nieces, nephews and cousins who were very special to her. Eudora's family filled her heart with an abundance of joy throughout the many years her life.
A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 2, at Cynthiana Christian Church. Visitation will precede the service from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the church.
Memorial gifts in honor of Eudora may be made to Cynthiana Christian Church.
