James Joseph Trainor, 77, of Tomball passed away on December 1, 2017. James was born in Philadelphia in 1940. He is the son of Agnes and Leonard Trainor. He is survived by his brothers Peter, John, and Leonard Jr. James is also survived by his wife of 53 years, Trudi. Children James Jr. of Dallas, Julia of Los Angeles, Adam of Tampa, and 5 grandchildren.

He moved to Texas with his wife in 1971 where he worked as District Sales Manager for G.O. Carlson, Inc. for many years. He helped launch youth soccer in South Texas, coaching the first girls team in the Timberline Soccer Organization in the 70's, and continued to coach and inspire into the 80's.

James was a lover of outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Upon retiring in 2004 he traveled the world with his wife by his side. His life long desires to see the Panama Canal, Ireland, the great Alaskans Vistas and skydiving were fulfilled before his passing.

Services and A Celebration of Life will be held in January, 2018.
