This was daily spot while I was in College. Strohs dark and some peanuts with Mick and Pete. Two great guys who treated everyone with kindness. God test his soul. Jim Weiland

Anna and Family: May the fond memories of your beloved Peter help you through this time of sorrow. I hope you can find comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering and is resting in peace. Sincerely, Rebecca

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have great memories of the Candlelight Inn from college days, waitressing for Pete & Mickey-also playing softball for Candlelight with Mickey as coach. Pete was a reliable behind that bar and I'll never forget his signature "No dancing or mingling in the aisles at the Candlelight!"
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Lori

Dear Anna,
So sorry to hear of Pete's death. I remember you all living next door to our mother Jennie Ziegler on South 4th St. You and Pete and the boys were so good to her and wonderful neighbors. Our prayer is God will hold you in his hands and help you heal in your time of sorrow.

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I remember some great times at the Candlelight with Pete "patrolling" the customers. What a time we would have. He helped to create a lot of memories.
