Annette "Susan" Richert Obituary
Mrs. Annette "Susan" (Vrba) Richert, born on July 14, 1946 in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to the late Josaphine "Joan" Gasior (Vrba) and the late Charles Vrba, passed away at age 72 on July 14, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her devoted husband, daughter and son by her side. Susan attended 9th through 11th grade at Marian Catholic High School completing 12th grade at Bloom Township graduated in 1964, Saint Agnes Catholic School for elementary and junior high graduated in 1960. Susan was the beloved wife of James Richert. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Vrba; Susan is survived by two children, daughter, Elizabeth Rivera (Richert); son, Christopher Richert; sister, Audrey Vrba (Hyland); three grandchildren, Ethan Richert, Mason Richert, and Shiloh Rivera; a niece, Dana Logan (Wilson); and four nephews, David Richert, Michael Richert, Anthony Vrba and Nick Vrba. She was a member of Saint Agnes Church. The family invites donations in Annette's name to the Parkinson's Foundation. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Saturday, September 8 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1501 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights. Following that, there will be a memorial service, officiated by Dave Brothers, Deacon, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 1501 Chicago Road, Chicago Heights. As Susan wished, she will be interred at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, IL next to her parents and brother in a private family ceremony. A celebration of life will follow from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Iron Oaks Learning Center, 20000 Western Avenue, Olympia Fields, Illinois, 60461.
