Dear Butch, Sylvia and Mary Jane,
I knew Arlene when she was quite young--first when my family visited hers, and later when she catered my wedding. When my parents were living, they would stop by her restaurant and keep me informed. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My best to all of you and your families.

Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you. Arlene played a special role in my life... introducing me the fundamentals of hard, honest work... of discipline and responsibility, of putting your customers and others ahead of yourself... and of respect for those around you. God be with you Arlene ! Heaven holds a special place for you !
In the name of Jesus Christ... Amen !

Dear Butch, Susie, Tom, Lisa and Family -- We are heartsick to hear of Arlene's passing. The world has lost a very "special" woman, yet she will remain in our hearts and prayers always . . . through the many fond memories and her vivacious spirit. Her generosity and caring were unsurpassed . . . thereby, having touched in extraordinary ways the lives of those blessed to know her. Celebrating her life with you is important to us. We are currently out of town with Darren, Terri and Noah. We are trying to change our return flight so that we can attend our dear friend's funeral. Please know how deeply saddened we are for your great loss. Arlene was so loved . . . and, will be missed. Heaven is lucky to have gained another good chef. . . . as Arlene will join Lil to "cook up a storm"! Sending our Love and Deepest Sympathy to All,

Virginia and Tom Brown

So sorry to hear about my sister's death. I know she was suffering. I'm going to try my best to make it out there but since I moved out of state a few years ago it might be difficult. If I don't make it know that you all are in my heart and prayers and I will always remember the good times my sister and I had. Love Sylvia Velazquez (Tennessee)
