He touched my life - and everyone elses' - in such a positive, warm, funny way and I am just shocked and so saddened to hear of his passing..He was so very good about keeping in touch and always so interested in everyone elses' lives...he was truly a Godly man who loved his family...Know that he touched Rapid City in such a profound way and will always live on in our hearts...Heaven has received a blessing from earth. Rest in peace, Andy, and know how very much you are loved! Darci & all the crew @ Executive Suites!

We were given the opportunity of knowing a wonderful person when Andy worked for our office (NAU Native American Student Services) and we enjoyed his great sense of humor and outgoing personality. We were always laughing and teasing (Native humor) one another and through the years, he kept in contact with us and would stop in once in a while to visit. Andy worked in a field where there are very few Native Americans represented and helped pave the way for other Native Americans going into the broadcasting field. He was a terrific role model and we were very proud of his accomplishments. We send our deep condolences to the Harvey family. Andy will not be forgotten by us. Rest in peace Andy. With much love, Catherine Talakte, Director and Sharon Doctor, Assistant Director

Andy's Family: Sending my condolences and prayers as Andy journeys to a awaiting arms of Jesus Christ. I had the privilege of crossing paths with Andy when I served as NAJA president. He answered the call to serve the organization and did so admirably. There surely will be students he mentored who will pass on what they learned from him to future journalists - and mention his name in doing so. Praying Creator comforts your hearts when Andy crosses your minds and hearts.
