Linda Marie Woolman Obituary
Linda Marie Woolman, 69 of Aztec, passed away on Mother's Day May 13th 2018. It is believed to be due to the fact that her daughters were taking too long in picking out her perfect earthly home, so she decided she would just jump straight for the upgrade. Well that and Jesus was ready for her.
Linda was born on July 20, 1948 in Liberal, Kansas to Kenneth and Iliene McQuitty. She always wished to be the favorite child but had to fight pretty hard for that title after Kendra and Earl were born. The family moved to this area when Linda was little and she attended Aztec schools before being "the first girl in Aztec" to join the Job Corps.
While quite the trouble maker in her younger years, Linda always stood up for the underdog. As she grew older, the troublemaker turned into ornery and she became a caretaker to many. All who knew her growing up through the years either loved her or feared her... usually a little of each. They also knew that she would give the shirt off her back for those in need. Linda had a passion for food. If she was not delivering food, she was cooking food. It was almost an insult if you didn't eat while visiting her home. She had an amazing heart hidden under her tough exterior, and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her spouse of 40 years Don Woolman. Her daughter Dashelle Ricord and husband Charlie. Daughter Echo Favaloro and husband Aaron Favaloro. Son Dakota (Kris) Woolman. Son Montana and wife Alyssa Woolman. Her sister Kendra Divine, her brother Earl Dean McQuitty and wife Christy. She was "Amma" to 8 grandchildren, Garrett, Devin, Siearahlyn, Cain, Silas, Elora, Emberlyn, and Emily. Her nephew Olan Divine wife Heather and two children Garrett and Aiden. Niece Deanna Taylor husband Virgil and two children Cayden and Breanna and many others who loved and treasured her.
We will be joining together to celebrate the life of Linda Woolman at 11:00 on July 21, 2018 at Pinon Hills Church 5101 N Dustin Ave, Farmington, NM 87401. Everyone is invited to come. We will be having a BBQ potluck style meal, please bring your favorite side dish and a memory to share.
