Larry Valdez Obituary
Farmington, New Mexico - Larry Ernesto Valdez, went home to his Heavenly Father on Friday December 18, 2020. Larry was born September 7, 1952 in Cuba, NM. He was 6 years old when his family moved to Farmington.
After graduating from Farmington High School Larry began a career in the electrical field, then later moved over to the oil and gas industry. He started with Blue Jet, and then ventured out on his own and started Sierra Oilfield Services. Meeting Larry was an experience in itself. Larry met a lot of amazing people. If you had the time he had a good story to tell.
More important to him than work was his family. His wife of 48 years, his children and especially his grandchildren. He loved spoiling his grandbabies
Larry is preceded in death by his father Benny Valdez, sister Linda Shelton, and brother Sammy Valdez.
He is survived by his wife Laura Valdez, four children, Jason Valdez (Lyndsie), Nathan Valdez, Jeremy Valdez (Natalie), Larissa Kleinhans (Travis), eleven grandchildren. His mother Eliza Saiz. Three sisters, Vicky Dimas, Edda Varland, Sharon Sugimoto and brother Benny Valdez, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held Wednesday December 30th ,11:00am at Masters Hand North 7th street Bloomfield New Mexico 87417.
