John Grant Obituary

John G. Grant

John, the son of Kenneth and Clydene Grant, was born December 8, 1942 in Long Beach, California and passed away suddenly in his home on November 28, 2011 in Manhattan Beach, California. John worked in the aerospace industry as an aerospace engineer for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cindy. John is survived by June, his wife of 15 years; his mother; four children, John Grant and wife, Catherine; Anthony Grant and wife, Kathryn, David Grant and Katrina DiRezze and husband, Joseph; five grandchildren and a host of close friends. John's life can best be described as being lived exclusively for the glory of God. He was known as a consistent and authentic follower of Jesus Christ by family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. The Memorial Service for Mr. Grant will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 5 at Journey of Faith Church, 1243 Artesia Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. The interment will be Tuesday at 12:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00-6:00pm at Green Hills Mortuary.
