Kathryn Browning
March 26, 1948 - February 4, 2012
Kathy passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday after a brave battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her family. Kathy's generosity, infectious enthusiasm and ability to make everyone in her life feel special were only a few of her extraordinary qualities. Survived by Kent, her devoted husband of 44 years; her loving children, Ellen Price (Edward), Matthew, Laura O'Boyle (William) and Peter; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Louisa and Oliver. Kathy is also survived by her mother, Joan and her brother, Stephen. A wonderful friend to all those who shared in her life, she will be profoundly missed and forever remembered. A memorial service will be held at St. Barnabas Church, 3955 Orange Ave., Long Beach on Thursday, February 9 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's name may be sent to St. Agatha's Parish, 2646 South Mansfield Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90016. Our sincere condolences to the family at this time. I am remembering the years we carpooled the kids to Los Altos United Methodist preschool. She was always so helpful and such a lively spirit. God rest her soul.

Katie, you will be missed greatly. You left a void in our hearts when you left that can only be filled by the great memories of our time together.
Linden is devastated and she doesn't understand why you had to go.
She loves her auntie Katie and she sends prayers every night hoping you can hear her.
Thanks for being a wonderful sister in-law to me and always making Tabetha and I feel like one of the family.
