Victor was born on July 28, 1929 in St. Michael, Pennsylvania. He was one of four sons of Frank and Mary, who preceded him in life. He served in the armed forces in World War II from 1948-1950. It was while he was stationed in Germany there that he met his lovely and vivacious Anna, his lifelong partner and his one any only true love. He returned to the USA in 1950, then Ann followed a few months later. They were married and began raising a family. Victor and Anna migrated to California with children, Pual, Diane and Deborah, and lived in Los Angeles. They later moved to the city of Gardena, where he lived and worked for the next forty some odd years. It was while he was in Gardena that Anna bore him a son, Victor. He retired from the City of Gardena after thirty five years of service. He peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus on October 22, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna; his daughters, Diane and Debbie; sons, Paul and Victor; son-in-law, Rick; grandsons, Scott, Jared, Shaun and Christopher; granddaughters, Jennifer, who preceded him in life; Ava, Tiffany and Britney; his brothers, Regis and Fran, and a host of other relatives and friends. Victor will always be remembered for his love and kindness to everyone. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincere appreciation for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them during their hour of bereavement. Heavenly peace to you Victor, may you rest in peace. We love you. Memorial service will be held Friday, October 29 at 1:00pm in the Green Hills Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes. Dear Anna and Family, Vic was one of the most thoughtful, caring people I have ever met. My first husband Jim Smith worked with Vic at the City of Gardena and when Jim became ill and died Vic was such a wonderful friend to my sons, they were 11 and 5 at the time. My boys grew up, I remarried and moved to northern california but we as a family never forgot Vic. May you rest in Peace.
