Allesandria (Sandy) Chiodo-Meier Obituary
Allesandria (Sandy) Rose Chiodo-Meier, born January 17, 1939 passed away at her home on December 7, 2011 at the age of 72. Sandy was a resident of Redondo Beach and lived in the South Bay for over 50 years. She was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Sandy was the youngest of four children and the only daughter to the late Carl and Rose Schneider. Her father owned a fishing boat and Sandy grew up on the water with her three older brothers. Her family moved to the West Coast and Sandy was a stunning, young model in the late 1950's. Sandy raised three sons in Palos Verdes, CA and was an accomplished real estate agent, recognized and awarded the Million Dollar Club medallion in 1975. Sandy will be forever remembered by her sons Gregory Joseph and Bradley Carl Chiodo, who cared for and comforted Sandy during her illness They were by her side when she passed away. Sandy is survived by her sons, Gregory and Bradley Chiodo; stepson, Eric Meier, stepdaughter; Kristen Kovacs; daughters-in-law, Terri, Stephanie and Donna Chiodo; brothers, Joseph and Marty Schneider and 15 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Arlen; husband, Henry Meier; brother Carl Schneider.
