Anita Mack, age 69, lifetime resident of Redondo Beach, CA. Born June 14, 1941 in Cadillac, Michigan. She was the fourth of five children. Loving wife of Raymond Mack, mother of eleven: Denise Cushler of Redondo Beach, CA, Kevin Depee of Phoenix, AZ, Carla Sebaski of Downers Grove, IL, Steven Mack of Chicago, IL, Daniel Mack of Monrovia, CA, David Mack of Monrovia, CA, Greg Locke of Moreno Valley, CA, David Locke of Lake Elsinore, CA, Jolene Fahey of Phoenix, AZ and Brad Mack of San Pedro, CA and preceded in death by Fran Locke. Grandmother of thirty, great-grandmother of ten. Also survived by her sister, Karen Fowler of Helena, MT, and brothers, Melvin Kershaw of Helena, MT, Ronald Kershaw of Pensacola, FL and Lee Kershaw of Corpus Christi, TX and her closest and dear friend, Terri Ley. Anita will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was loved by many. Anita's favorite hobby was her family. She was famous for her lavish diner parties and always with a great sense of humor and compassion for others. She was the glue that held us together. She rescued animals, raised children and caretaker. Known for her big family get-togethers and festive holidays, she was extremely talented and never used paper plates or paper napkins. Every table was beautiful and her food always looked like pictures out of gourmet magazines. She loved her family and her family loved her. She was our leader, friend, mother, wife, counselor, grandmother and referee. Our lives will never be the same without her. Memorial service will be held August 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Chapel at the corner of Beryl and Catalina in Redondo Beach. Reception immediately following the service at the same location. Service will be eulogized by her son, Pastor David Mack. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations maybe made to the .
