Arlene Waynett Neal Napohaku McNamara Obituary
Arlene Waynett Neal Napohaku McNamara

Arlene McNamara passed peacefully at her home on May 17, 2012 after an eleven-year battle with cancer. She was born July 6, 1943 in San Francisco and raised in the Lennox area as the only child of Helen Josephine Vining (April 1913-August 1994) and Theodore Roosevelt Neal (August 1907-June 1956). Arlene worked a variety of jobs over the years, including in a manufacturing plant, a bowling alley, a fish market, various bars, and longest with E&M liquor where she was close friends with the store owner. She enjoyed craft projects, cake decorating, cooking, live theater, country music, trips to Vegas and Laughlin, family barbecue get-togethers, and camping with friends. Best known for her sense of humor, Arlene was well liked by many people. Her bright-blue eyes, jokes, and laughter will be sorely missed by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband, James McNamara; 7 children, Sherri, Pinky, Alex, Clayton, Tracy, Kaipo, Christal; 18 grandchildren, Van, Kai, Paige; Punchy, Kuk, Amber, Huna; Miranda, Alika, Kimo, Makoa; Hannah, Ryan, Nathan; Tasia; Kona, Quintein, Ikaika; and 6 great grandchildren, Kianna, Breckin; Ashlyn; Ashley, Natalie; Aidan.
