Barry was such a great man and staple of the village. Gary and I got certified through Sea D Sea and that enabled such an exciting underwater journey that continues. Barry was always smiling, enlightening, and full of great stories. He has touched so many lives and taught so many to cherish and respect our oceans and all inhabitants, above and below. He will be sorely missed but lives on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him. Condolences to his family. RIP, Barry.

It was always a pleasure to see and chat with Barry, whether at Sea D Sea talking about diving or across the driveway talking about how I nearly burnt his house down one Christmas; Either way he had a nice smile and a wicked wit. Karen and I will truly miss him. Love and prayers to Nancy.

I'll be there Thursday to honor the spirit of this devoted son of the sea. Barry was always a friendly face to the newbie diver and a respected colleague of the seasoned professional. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends; may his memory always be a blessing to you.

Thank you Barry for being my dive instructor all those years ago when I was just a kid in December 1977. I
learned a lot about the sea and diving safety from you. I still have some of the excellent gear from those days that I bought at your store for your dive trips, and it still works great. I enjoyed our conversations over the years, and you will be missed and fondly remembered by many people. Thanks for everything, Barry.

All of us at Pacific Wilderness are extremely sad to hear of Barry's passing. Barry / Sea d Sea was always a friendly competitor and Barry was a great, soft-spoken man. He was good for the Dive Industry - gently promoting diving to people of all ages...including selling me my first set of Snorkeling Gear in 1976.
He will be missed. Our best to Nancy.
