Beatrice Canetti Guglielmo Obituary
August 23, 1925 - December 21, 2010
Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

Beatrice Canetti Guglielmo, 85, daughter of Nicholas and Jennie Canetti was born in San Pedro on August 23, 1925. After a courageous fight with cancer, she passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving husband, Phillip; children, Neil Guglielmo (wife, Laurie), Ann D'Amato (husband, Andy), Nancy Wolhaupter (husband, John) and Nick Guglielmo (wife, Sandy); and her precious grandchildren, Neil (wife, Laura), Patrick, Philip, David, Kristi, Ashley, Nicholas, Robyn, Paul (wife, Aniela), Frank, Brian, Katie; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Isabella, and Daniel. Beatrice's many passions in life were spending time with her family and friends, cooking, baking and especially hosting meals for her children and grandchildren. As a member of the St. Anne's Society and the Italian Catholic Federation, she was truly a devout Catholic who embraced her faith as a proud parishioner of Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved "Bea Bea" as she was affectionately called. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at McNerney's Mortuary from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The rosary prayer will be held at Mary Star of the Sea Church on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be officiated at Mary Star of the Sea Church on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Burial services will be conducted at Green Hills immediately following the funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts in her memory be made to the Mary Star of Sea High School building fund. Memorial donations can be sent to Mary Star of the Sea Church, 870 W. 8th Street, San Pedro, CA 90731. In addition to her immediate family, Beatrice is survived by her brother, Joseph Canetti (wife, Ann), numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. You are welcomed to leave the family a message or share memories at mcnerneysmortuary.com.
