Bud (Edward Millard) Brown

He passed away April 21, 2016. He was born August 4, 1920 in DeWitt Arkansas. Bud received a football scholarship to the University of Arkansas which was cut short by World War II. He served in the South Pacific on the Battleship USS Washington as a radio operator. Bud's wife Cappy of 68 years preceded him in death on January 19, 2014. They raised five children; Julie A. Brown, Randy Brown, Larry (Jane) Brown, Debi (Milan) Bocarski, Louis (Francine) Brown with nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Junior (Sissy) Brown and many relatives. Bud was a man's man who loved hunting, fishing and camping. He was a descendent of Daniel Boone. He owned the first business on Western Avenue, which was Bud's gas station for 27 years before starting Bud Brown Realty. He was civic minded belonging to many clubs. Bud enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and dancing with his wife. The Brown home was always open to family and friends with good food, laughs and lots of love. Bud was truly one of a kind.
