Consuelo Rubio Obituary
Consuelo Rubio passed away peacefully at home in Wilmington, CA on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 9:30 p.m. Connie was born in Purepero, Michoacan, Mexico. She resided in Wilmington, CA for 45 years and loved her home on Lakme Ave. She was known as a unique and amazing woman, who had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. Connie enjoyed gardening, in particular her beautiful roses and loved her birds. She enjoyed cooking; she always had a hot plate and fresh brewed ice tea for her guests. Connie loved her friends and family, enjoyed spending quality time with her nieces, nephews, godchildren, family members and friends. She retired from Starkist Cannery where she worked for 32 years. She enjoyed visiting and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 40 years of marriage, Jack P. Rubio; son, Jack Paul and wife, Ana Rubio; grandchildren, Chris, Heidi, and Baby Jack Rubio whom reside in Barstow, CA; her sister, Emilia Murillo; and brother, Jesus Pimentel. The services will be held at Del Angel/McNerney's Mortuary in Wilmington, CA Friday, August 6, 2010 from 5 - 9 p.m. Mass will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 515 W. Opp St. Wilmington, CA Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow after mass at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 4400 Cherry Ave. Long Beach, CA 90807.
