Delos Wilson Crouch Obituary
Delos Wilson Crouch passed away in San Pedro on March 1, 2011. He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Hoa; two sons, Danny and Brady; four daughters, Dale, Kerry, Deanna and Debbie; two brothers, Walter and Leland, fourteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Delos was born May 12, 1931 in Canton, Ohio. Joining the Army at a very young age, Del was a highly decorated soldier, honoring his country proudly for twenty years of dedicated service. He spent five tours in Vietnam as an Airborne Ranger and a Green Beret in the U.S. Army Special Forces. During this time Del earned the Bronze Star for bravery and valor as well a Purple Heart for being wounded while protecting the country he loved. Del retired from the U.S. Army as a chief warrant officer. Del was a devoted family man with many loving friends who will miss him dearly. Memorial services will take place March 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 1292 West Santa Cruz Street, San Pedro, CA 90732. The family will hold a viewing on Monday, March 7 between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.
