Donald Clark Oliveau, 81, of Ashburn, VA, died Sunday July 23, 2017. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on October 28, 1935, to Michel Oliveau and Dorothy (Clark) Oliveau. He graduated from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1961. He started out his career on staff at UVM as well as having a private psychiatry practice in Vermont. He then moved to California where he was part of the Hawthorne Medical Group. In his spare time he enjoyed postal chess, playing the piano and dabbling in computer programming.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, to whom he was married 2 years; his ex-wife, Charlotte; his three children, Kevin and his wife Lauranne, David and Heather and her husband John; his four grandchildren, Alexandra, Katryna, Jack and Peter; his two sisters Mary Ann and Nancy; his four step-children, Vera, Audra and her husband Will, Brandon, and Leon; his three step-grandchildren, Shenita and her husband Rodney, Lillie, and Christopher; and his three step-great-grandchildren, Tre, Ayanna, and Nevaeh. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 44 years, Susan; and his two brothers, Michel and Vance.

In later years, Don and Susan retired from California to Vermont where they enjoyed the beautiful green mountains together. In retirement he focused on his love for clocks and learned how to repair them, leading him hang out his shingle with Don's Clock Repair. Following Susan's death Don moved to Virginia to be closer to his family. A few years after he moved to Virginia he met and fell in love with Sharon. They spent 2+ years together enjoying family get togethers, concerts and cruises and just having a lot of fun.

Don will be missed by all who loved and cared about him.

A small family gathering will be held in August. Contributions can be made in his memory to the Lincoln Library, 222 West River Rd., Lincoln, VT 05443. Please share online condolences with the family at www.loudounfuneralchapel.com and dailybreeze.com/obits.
