Donald James Tousseau

Donald James Tousseau, 84, passed away January 25, 2013 in Yuma, AZ. He was born, May 14, 1928 and raised in San Pedro, CA. Don was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dedie; three children, Stephen (Pam) Tousseau, David (Ginger) Tousseau and Dawn (John) Stucker. He is also survived by his brother, Melvin Tousseau; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was also an honorary member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors. He was a longshoreman and a foreman in the I.L.W.U. working for 35 years before retiring in 1990. Don was also an active member of the Elks Lodge in Santa Maria, CA, a life member of the VFW and member of the American Legion. He was very active in Little League leadership in Harbor City, CA. Don loved vacationing with his family each year when they were young, later in life traveling in his motor home, as well as going on cruises.
