Dorothy Jane MacLellan Obituary
September 14, 1928 - May 17, 2011

Wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home with her children at her side. She is survived by her three children, Daniel, Mary Anne and Donald; five grandchildren; and loving relatives. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Andy whom she loved very much. Dorothy was committed to her family, as well to the community as evidenced by the many organizations she volunteered and gave countless hours to better our society. Dorothy was always there for you and opened her home to make you feel welcome. She was one of the founding members of her church and was active volunteering and leading many church activities and programs. She was also active in Casa De Angelitos, a home for unwed mothers as well as the Toberman Community Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 23, 11:30 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church in Rancho Palos Verdes.
