ESTHER PADILLA SALAS Our Beloved Mother Grandmother-Great Grandmother

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, surrounded by her family our Mother; Esther went peacefully with the lord. Grandma Esther as she was known to many was born on February 1, 1922 in San Juan de Los Lagos, Mexico and arrived in San Pedro at the age of 17. She married Santiago Salas on June 24, 1950 and together had five children. She was a wonderful devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was preceded in her death by her husband Santiago Salas and is survived by her five children: Teri (John) Quintana, Santiago (Lupe) Salas, Danny (Carmen) Salas, Luci (Mike) Prieto, and Patricia (Louie) Arostigue. Grandchildren: Bobby (Esmeralda), Renee, Jeremy (Mila), Jacob (Leslie), Jonathan (Vicky), Debbie, Aaron, Raymond, Matthew, Santiago, Jr. (Wendy), Alicia, Mandy, Louis, Jason (Lorraine), Vance, Jared and numerous great grandchildren. She traveled the world and went to 29 destinations. She loved speaking of her travels and the adventures she experienced. She was a devoted Catholic and very spiritual. She loved telling jokes, and enjoyed having her family around her. Esther Salas was a happy and loving woman who cared deeply for her family and faith.
