I was 5 years old when Evie was on this particular episode of Match Game 75. I watched it religiously with my mother. I never quite understood all of the adult humor, but I remember people. I saw it on YouTube again and remembered her by her pantsuit. I even made Barbie doll clothes with that type of fabric. It was nice to know Evie as an adult and appreciate her humor. My condolences to your family.

I didn´t know Evie personally, but as others have mentioned - I was introduced to her via Match Game. She was by far the best and most charismatic contestant they ever had. Whenever I´m having a rough day - I always turn to Match Game to brighten my spirits, and my favorite episodes are the ones Evie was on. Such a treat. I hope she knew how many people she brought joy and laughter to. I don´t need to know her to know that she was a wonderful person whom was overflowing with joy. Rest easy, Evie.

We all wonder what would have happened if Richard had only said "cat" on that episode of yours. It was TV magic the way it turned out but it sure would have been interesting. Rest in peace Evie.

I just watched her 2 games on Match. I used to watch old reruns of the match game for a long time and I honestly never saw these episodes. She is an absolute gem and is so funny. as I read the memories and condolences for her It´s amazing how many people´s life she touched just by being on that show. Most of the world knew about her from her truly memorable appearance on MatchGame 75. But you know she had a life before and after show. I can´t imagine how much joy she brought to her family & friends! And of course the huge hole her loss has left in your lives. Evie was introduced to me on YouTube Matchgame 75 She was so real and boy was she funny! She reminded me so much by her facial expressions to my late Mother, she was of a middle-eastern background and wondered if Evie was?
She was all heart! She was honest and like I mentioned very real! I can´t believe how many people loved her including me! I too am another Match Game 75 viewer courtesy YouTube.
I don´t recall when YouTube and or GSM "became", but I do hope it was while Evie was still alive so she, herself, could see just how many lives she touched with her sweet and innocent charm.
I´m truly saddened to learn of Evie´s passing and believe never too late to bestow condolences.
To all Evie´s friends, family and those blessed to be touched by her, please accept my deepest sympathies.

I just happened upon Evie´s appearance on Match Game 75 as their most memorable contestant and could have watched her for hours! I saw her heart and she touched my soul. I just saw Evie on a youtube video and she was so brilliant - when I googled her, I was heart broken to see that she had passed away. She made me laugh so much! Like so many others here, I recently saw Evie's appearances on Match Game 75. She has such a beautiful spirit and I'm so moved by her presence. As a public speaker, singer, and performer, I never understood stage fright until I saw Evie and her interactions with Gene Rayburn and the entire celebrity panel. She clearly felt so overwhelmed by it all. But, when she matched Brett Somers in the bonus round, she so naturally went and embraced her, despite being emotionally overloaded. She even kissed Nipsey Russell. Even though her discomfort was so clear, it was wonderful to see her step out of her comfort zone. Evie is a true inspiration to the millions of people who live with anxiety every day. I'm sad to learn that she passed so early in her life. But I am so happy that her memory lives on so vividly for so many people. God bless Evie and her entire family.

Out of curiosity I looked up Evie after watching Match Game '75 a show my husband & I watched a lot in our teens. Her facial expressions/nervousness were hilarious & SO endearing. Very sad she didn't have a long life, but it seems she did have a full life with many kids & a loving husband. RIP sweet lady

My husband and I also watched the episodes of the original Match Game last week and thoroughly enjoyed Evie! She was so genuine, so engaging and so much fun. Had to look her up online and was so happy to see that others felt the same way. I'm glad she lived a wonderful life. Just watched the Match Game ‘75 episodes on which Evie was a contestant. Hands down one of the best contestants on any game show I’ve watched and I’m a game show fanatic! On a whim I went online to learn more about Evie only to find out that she had passed. Even though I didn’t know her , that saddened me.
Evie seemed like a lovely lady with a great sense of humor. Her picture here is so pretty. I can still see that “Match Game Evie” in her face.

Caught Evie on Match Game (which my friend Darrin now hosts) and was instantly intrigued by her. Her nervousness seemed scripted, but it wasn’t. She would have made an amazing character in comedy just being natural. Like many I had to see if there was anything online and found she passed. RIP and hope you got that house and car lol ;)

I don't and didn't know Evie at all. Indeed I am from the UK and have had the pleasure to see Evie on the Match Game 74 series on YouTube. I was only 3 years old when she was on that game show and only know have I had the pleasure to meet her. She seemed to be such an amazing woman, full of character and a pleasure to be around. I keep watching this episode over again as she cleared had something so very very special. I can only imagine how well loved she was by her family. I just re-viewed the Match-Game episode with Evie’s appearance. Many viewed her as being nervous, shy or even a tad insecure. My personal view, I thought what a character she must be at home with her friends and family. Her facial expressions alone, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed or smiled so much watching a game show before! LoL Even as a kid (when I first saw her) I thought she’s a person that you’d love to have as a friend because she put out a happy sort of vibe... and she gave me the very same feeling today as an adult. There was just someone so sweet and comical about her. May she Rest In Peace... and blessings to her family.
