Florence M. Encinas, born on October 16, 1918, passed away on March 30, 2015, surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico, Florence came to California in 1920 at the age of two-years-old, and lived in the South Bay area most of her life. Predeceased by her husband, Tony M. Encinas. She is survived by her children, Virginia, Evie, James, Toni and Irene, all of South Bay area. Predeceased by her two sons, Tony and Frank; two grandchildren, Toby and Olivia; and two great-grandsons, Vincent and Niko. Survived by her beloved grandchildren, Pete, Steve, Vivian, Dolores, and Micah; Lydia, Florence, Carlos, and Angel; Ernie, Danny, John, Tracy, and Michele; Jimmy, Nick, Joey, and Deseree; Tiffany and Regina. Also, her sister Gloria, and her favorite nephew, David Moreno. Survived also by 59 great-grandchildren, and 34 great-great-grandchildren. Florence was the matriarch of the family she so adored, and had a special soft spot in her heart for all her grandchildren; she was lovingly called "grandma" by all in the neighborhood. Florence loved to dress fashionably, was a wonderful cook, and seamstress. She also found joy in singing, playing the guitar, and tending to her garden, The family would like to thank Dr. M. Khurana, and his Nurse Rita; Sheila (RN), from Greater South Bay Home Health, as well as Fountain Hospice for their tender loving care.
