Frances Espinosa Obituary
Frances Gomez Espinosa
(AKA "Pachita")

Born 10/5/1928 and graduated into heaven on 6/10/2015. Frances was born in San Francisco Del Rincon, Guanajuato, Mexico. She came to her beloved United States with her then-husband; Bernard Espinosa in 1953 where they settled in San Pedro CA. Frances was involved in her community as a supporter for the March of Dimes, Easter Seals, and as an active leader in the Cabrillo Ave School PTA. Having a strong work ethic, Frances was a very successful "Avon Lady" as she funded her oldest daughter's UCLA education as a representative. She also worked at San Pedro Farmers Market, and her favorite job was a Special Education Assistant for LAUSD where she retired at age 72. Besides ensuring all of her family knew the Gospel, education was a close second. All of her children and grandchildren, who are old enough, are college educated; she wouldn't have it any other way. Frances enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and was a world traveler, but her passion was dancing. She was dancing the tango as recently as weeks before her passing. Spiritually, Frances was a Born Again Christian, and a member of Community Christian Church. She faithfully spent hours a day in prayer for her family, friends and church. Frances is survived by ex-husband and lifelong friend, Bernard Espinosa; children, Dr. Andrea Espinosa, MD, Bernie (Rose Mary) Espinoza, Victor (Donna) Espinosa, and Sandy (Ken) Pedersen; also grandchildren Joshua (Jessi) Espinosa, Sophia (George) Koenig, Brandon Espinosa, Vanessa (James) Spriestersbach, Gabriel Espinoza, Marissa Espinosa, Hayden Espinosa and Cassidy Espinosa; and great-grandchild, George Koenig. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2pm at Community Christian Church, 1903 Summerland St, RPV, CA. Inurnment will be private. Feel free to wear something purple: Frances's favorite color. Please sign the guestbook at www. DailyBreeze.com/obits
